DOB: 16 July 2011

Sire: Ch Sonstraal Chocolate Storm ShCM

Dam: Sonstraal Gabby's Dream ShCM

Hip score: 0/2 = 2

JME: N/N (Clear)

Sookie is owned in partnership with Russell Mosedale, she was bred by Sharon Rossiter and Anthea Fox at Sonstraal and is from Elvis' first litter.  She was names after the buxom blonde 'Sookie Stackhouse' in the well known series 'True Blood' and with her pretty looks and big brown eyes we feel she fits the profile well!

She is the sweetest girl who loves nothing more than to be with you.  She loves cuddles and everyone is a friend, especially if you have biscuits in your pockets (typical greedy Ridgeback).  She enjoys her walks, particularly running about like a mad dog in wide open spaces - she loves the beach!

She has done well in the show ring, despite only being lightly shown as an adult.  She won the Reserve Bitch CC at Belfast 2013, achieved her Junior Warrant at just 13 months and has won some lovely Limit classes recently.

Sookie has had a litter - click here for more information!

Some of Sookie's Critiques

Gillian Mitchelson, Leeds Champ 2012 - "Aitken & Mosedale’s Sonstraal Dream The Dream at Saadani, feminine light wheaten bitch, excellently balanced while standing & on the move, with correct level topline, good head proportions & bone with correct strong loin & good infill of forechest. Very promising;"

Jenni Morris, SRRA Champ 2012 - "Very well made and balanced light red wheaten, lovely head and expression, good length of neck, level topline and strong loin, ribbed well back, good angulation, movement was long striding and effortless. I liked her so much I forgave her being a bit slack in pastern as I hope this will strengthen as she matures."

Liz Cartledge, WELKS 2012 - ""Well constructed 10 months puppy, attractive head, bright expression, good depth of body, held topline going round, moved OK"

Robert Greaves, RRCS Open show 2012 - "What a lovely. promising young bitch, nine months of age and  of very good breed type and really did present a cracking outline Very  feminine head & expression, nice  neck, well laid shoulders, ribcage carried well back, good width across thigh, sound positive movement.  BPIS"

Mike Caple, Birmingham National 2012 - "Attractively headed light wheaten of 9mths, who I see is sired by the Dog CC winner today, I found her to be well balanced in outline and construction, liked her well filled front, not quite the coordination in movement of 1. "

Pam Blay, East of England 2012 - " what a cracker, this light wheaten is quality & so very feminine in outlook, loved her type & balance, lovely size with such a pretty head & expression, excellent neck & shoulders, correct topline & tailset, lovely hindquarters & moved so well for one so young, very taken with her & had no hesitation in making her BP"
